What is a conspiracy? Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines Conspiracy Theory as “a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators”

I assert lobbyists lobbying the government for reasons that do not benefit the people is usually a conspiracy.

I feature many videos on this site that have been posted online. I like to draw connections between the data. Maybe that’s because I’m a big fan of James Burke’s series Connections. Please do what you can to support independent film makers and PBS. What’s left of the “free media” won’t stay that way, if we don’t support them. If you don’t have the money to buy a video, or buy a download copy, you can often check the video out at your local library.

If your local library doesn’t have a particular documentary, like Why We Fight, try filling out a request form. I have had good success with this myself.  Not only will you be benefit from being able to watch a video with friends or family, but you will be making important information available to your entire community.

Many of the videos I recommend can be rented on NetFlix.com

Another thing to keep in mind is many elderly people don’t feel comfortable on the Internet, so renting a documentary for them, or buying them a copy is a great way to get them informed.  Statistically they vote more than anyone else, so making sure they are well informed is  pretty important.

If you live in the US, you may want to consider buying a video for, or inviting over your local Precinct Delegate.  Here’s a page from another site that explains why Precinct Delegates are so important.  Delegates can decide who even winds of on the ballot, in both local and national elections.
