John Pilger’s documentary The War on Democracy is a fascinating film that looks at U.S. foreign policy in Latin America. This is important to keep in mind when it comes to the U.S. bringing democracy to Iraq.

John Pilger’s The War On Democracy examines:

• Torture techniques used in Latin American Coups taught at the School of the Americas.
• 2002 coup against Hugo Chavez backed by rich and powerful interests under U.S. support, but Chavez was brought back to power by hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan people marching in their streets demanding his return.
• The 1973 coup that took out democratically elected Salvador Allende and put Augusto Pinochet into power. Milton Friedman’s economic techniques were used to establish an economy with a great disparity between the rich and the poor. This can be verified by viewing a chart of the Gini Coefficient (a.k.a Gini Index).
• Victor Jara was murdered by the Pinochet coup.
• Former CIA agent and Watergate scandal conspirator Howard Hunt, and Duane Clarridge, former head of CIA operations in South America.
• Dianna Ortiz is a U.SRoman Catholic nun of the Ursuline order. She is a native of the state of New Mexico in the United States. While serving as a missionary in Guatemala in 1989, she was abducted by right-wing forces and brutally tortured. Among other torments she was gang-raped and suffered over 100 cigarette burns
• The 1954 coup in Guatemala to over throw Jacobo Arbenz Guzman. Arbenz nationalized the land in the country and gave it to the poor. Much of the land was held by the United Fruit Company (now known as Chiquita Brands.
• On the brighter side — over the last five years Bolivia has been able to refuse multinational companies access their country’s natural reserves of gas, and water rights. Prior to Bolivia’s activist movement their natural resources where asset stripped by multinational interests

John Pilger examines the effects of globalization and turns the spotlight on Indonesia. Indonesia is a country described by the World Bank as a model pupil until its globalized economy collapsed in 1998.

Similar information is covered in John Perkins‘ book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man John Perkins examines how the World Bank’s has aided international corporations in devastating the poor of developing countries, and so does John Pilger.

This film examines the use of sweatshop factories on behalf of famous brand names like Nike.
Who are the real beneficiaries of the globalized economy? Who really rules the world now? Is it governments or a handful of huge companies? The Ford Motor Company alone is bigger than the economy of South Africa. Enormously rich men, like Bill Gates, have a wealth greater than all of Africa.

John Pilger takes a look at the World Trade Organization (WTO), who is operating like a quasi independent world government. A government looking out for global corporate interests–not individual people.
At the end of this film John Pilger calls for the end of the IMF, WTO, and World Bank. He suggests they should be replaced by democratically accountable organizations. John Pilger then quotes a document from the United States Space Command. The document states:

The globalization of the world economy will continue. With a widening of haves and have nots, only military dominance will protect America’s commercial interests.

“Why should we except this? Why should our children have to face these divisions and dangers. None of them are God given. All of them can be changed.”

The one stipulation is you can not charge admission. Local Film Societies are a great screening option as well as local libraries. Good promotion options are local radio, handing out flyers, and public service announcements in local papers.

It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace.

To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order. But the American colonies did it once and brought forth one of the most nearly perfect unions the world has ever seen. Cronkite said later in the same speech:

Even as with the American rejection of the League of Nations, our failure to live up to our obligations to the United Nations is led by a handful of willful senators who choose to pursue their narrow, selfish political objectives at the cost of our nation’s conscience.They pander to and are supported by the Christian Coalition and the rest of the religious right wing. Their leader, Pat Robertson, has written that we should have a world government but only when the messiah arrives. Any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the Devil! Well join me… I’m glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan.

Note at the end of the video Hillary Clinton is teleconferenced in to congratulate Walter Cronkite on his Global Governance Award, and for his efforts promoting a one world government.

Was Walter Cronkite insane, or did he have the right idea?   Is a global government a good idea, or is Walter Cronkite just a pawn for the International Bankers and the Corporatocracy.

History of the Glass-Steagall Act repeal:

According to Forbes magazine, the formation of the Glass-Steagall Act arose in 1933. It was formed by Congress shortly after the stock market plumetted in 1929 while there was bank collapse across the United States (source). Essentially, the Glass Stiegel Act “separated investment and commercial banking” and may have potentially “hindered the establishment of financial services firms that can equally compete against each other” (source), which led to the repeal of the Glass Steagall Act.

The Glass Steagall Act helped compartmentize the U.S. financial industry in an effort to prevent future collapses and failures of U.S. banks such as what happened in the ’30s. Some interesting claims are made here that I’m currently investigating. One of which is Nazis used Fluoride in the drinking water at concentration camps. This was supposed to have made prisoners easier to manage.

That might sound odd, but also take this into consideration. Lithium is used to mellow out people with Bipolar Disorder. Personally I once temporarily wiped out my short term memory by taking way too much magnesium.

Scientists have found Fluoride impairs cognitive function in both rats and humans.

Dr. Phyllis Mullenix is a pharmacologist and toxicologist by training. Dr. Mullenix’s fluoride research found:

Establishing a threshold dose for effects on the CNS, in rats or humans, was not the intent of this initial investigation. Yet, one fact relevant to human exposure emerged quite clear. When rats consumed 75-125 ppm and humans 5-10 ppm fluoride in their respective drinking waters, the result was equivalent ranges of plasma fluoride levels. This range is observed with some treatments for osteoporosis, and it is exceeded ten times over, one hour after children receive topical applications of some dental fluoride gels. Thus, humans are being exposed to levels of fluoride we know alters behavior in rats.

We concluded that the rat study flagged potential for motor dysfunction, IQ deficits and/or learning disabilities in humans. Confident as we were, the data were only one piece of the puzzle, the overall picture was still emerging. Soon thereafter we learned of two epidemiological studies (Fluoride, 1995-1996) from China showing IQ deficits in children over-exposed to fluoride via drinking water or soot from burning coal. A recent review (International Clinical Psychopharmacology, 1994) listed case reports of CNS effects in humans excessively exposed to fluoride, information that spans almost 60 years. A common theme appeared in the reported effects: impaired memory and concentration, lethargy, headache, depression and confusion. The same theme was echoed in once classified reports about workers from the Manhatten Project. In all, our rat data seem to fit a consistent picture.

Why EPA Headquarters’ Union of Scientists Opposes Fluoridation:

In 1995, Mullenix and co-workers \2 showed that rats given fluoride in drinking water at levels that give rise to plasma fluoride concentrations in the range seen in humans suffer neurotoxic effects that vary according to when the rats were given the fluoride – as adult animals, as young animals, or through the placenta before birth. Those exposed before birth were born hyperactive and remained so throughout their lives. Those exposed as young or adult animals displayed depressed activity. Then in 1998, Guan and co-workers \3 gave doses similar to those used by the Mullenix research group to try to understand the mechanism(s) underlying the effects seen by the Mullenix group. Guan’s group found that several key chemicals in the brain – those that form the membrane of brain cells – were substantially depleted in rats given fluoride, as compared to those who did not get fluoride.

CODEX Alimentarius is a campaign to force global nutrition standards on the population of the world, that do not serve our best interest of the average person.

An example is not allowing the recommendation of taking any more than 400 IUs of vitamin D per day. Why is that a big deal? It has been proven people who take 1000 IU or more of vitamin D per day are 50% less likely to develop Multiple Sclerosis. The pharmaceutical medications that are recommended for Multiple Sclerosis costs $1500 to $2500 per month–need I say more.

I find it rather odd for Alex Jones to criticize David Icke. I find some of the stuff David Icke comes up with odd, but so is a man who carries a bull horn around so he can stand out side of buildings and yell at the people inside.

David Icke carries himself very well. I love the scene in one of David Icke’s videos where he’s standing in London telling the police, “What are you going to tell your children when they wake up one day and realize they’re living in a police state?”

Don’t get me wrong. Alex Jones presents some really good data on prisonplanet.com That’s probably why I watched End Game by Alex Jones. (That and I became fascinated with conspiracies after watching the Sony Pictures documentary Why We Fight.) Alex started off with some interesting information, but then I really think he went off the deep end.

I know many people will be angry with me for saying this, but I don’t believe Charles Darwin was part of a conspiracy to demoralize people so we could kill off the weak.

People were not being castrated because of this conspiracy. I had a great great uncle who was castrated for molesting a child. To be honest I don’t see anything wrong with that. I do see how castration could be abused just as capital punishment has been abused; we only need to read up on The Innocents Project to see that. You would need a substantial number of checks and balances before implementing castration as a method of dealing with child molesters.

I also don’t believe there is a conspiracy between the internal bankers and the United Nations (UN) to kill off 80% of the world’s population.

I did find Aaron Russo’s America Freedom to Fascism very interesting. Notice in America Freedom to Fascism Aaron asserts they want to start everyone out with a national ID card (Real ID), and then eventually move onto a microchip. If this is correct, this is so they can manage the masses.

The more people there are on the planet, the more the rich have to enslave–the more people the powerful have to exploit. You can’t be super rich without a vast group of people to leach off from like a parasite.When you look at the history of the plagues in Europe, the people who lived benefited greatly. This was because there was a surplus of everything. In addition to the surplus of commodities and real estate, the rich had to go out and work their own fields because all of their laborers were dead.

If you look into The Inflation Tax, it explains how the more money is printed, the less it is worth. This is just like supply and demand for commodities. If there are fewer laborers in the work force, the value of that labor will increase. A surpluses of land and commodities reduces the cost. When the cost of commodities and real estate is reduced, but there is not an increase in sales volume, the rich lose.

This principle was written about in Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. Their views were also covered by 20/20

Personally I would recommend John Pilger’s The New Rulers of the World as the best documentary on Globalization, and the New World Order Alex Jones is talking about in End Game.  John Pilger is a veteran journalist who was on President John F. Kennedy’s press coup.

Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but this reminds me of something a friend said, “In Communist Russia instead of trying to deny facts, they’d just flood the media with bogus data so people couldn’t decipher what was really going on.”

I worry sometimes how Alex Jones and David Icke present a lot of really good information, and then throw out something totally bizarre, giving the mainstream media a reason to discredit totally valid issues. At least they try.

Here’s an interesting connection. In the below video David Icke mentions the Project For The New American Century. The Chairmen of Project For The New American Century is William Kristol. In the PBS documentary Buying The War narrated by Bill Moyer, Bill Kristol is listed as one of the political pundits who conned the American people into believing there was a connection between Iraq and 911.

That being said, I’m concerned people are blowing global warming out of proportion while overlooking the actual issue of poisoning and defoliating the environment.

Some people are claiming this issue is a conspiracy, but is it? You decide.

NPR has been going around smiting anyone who questions global warming.

Example: NASA Chief Regrets Voicing His Views on Climate

But maybe the reason the Chief of NASA is skeptical about the cause of global warming is because NASA has found Mars is also experiencing global warming. National Geographic posted this skeptical article, but they have signed on with NPR to do a daily commentary on human caused climate change. The article does site the work of NASA and Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia who is siding with NASA solar cause theory.

Some interesting data from NASA can be found at science.nasa.gov

NPR never mentions NASA has found global warming on Mars. That would debunk their year long series on “Climate Change.”

Trying to whip people into hysteria over global warming isn’t any better than news outlets like the New York Times assisting the Bush administration in convincing people there’s a connection between Iraq and 911(warning this link contains bad language).
